Spanning an impressive 1,400 square metres, the new lounge is designed to accommodate approximately 245 guests. A standout feature is its expansive 700-square-meter outdoor garden, a rarity in airport lounges, offering passengers a unique open-air environment for relaxation. The lounge operates around the clock, ensuring service availability for the varied schedules of international flights. This 24-hour operation aims to cater to the needs of travellers at all hours. Access to this premium facility is extended to First and Business Class passengers, as well as Star Alliance Gold members flying with member airlines from Terminal 3, irrespective of their booked cabin class.

The design of the lounge is a thoughtful collaboration between the airport and Star Alliance, weaving in elements of Lingnan culture and the local landscape. A central installation inspired by the kapok flower, the official emblem of Guangzhou, serves as a prominent design feature. Local traditions are celebrated through a dedicated tea experience, guided by skilled tea artists. This offers passengers a taste of authentic Guangzhou culture. Currently, ten Star Alliance member airlines utilize Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport as a base. Collectively, these airlines operate approximately 1,500 weekly departures from Guangzhou.
